Michizō Tachihara

A 19-year-old youth with brown hair and a bandage on his nose, known as one of the ten leaders of the militant group "Black Lizard." He speaks in a rough manner and uses dual pistols in combat. He is actually an undercover agent belonging to the "Hunting Dogs." He is the younger brother of a sergeant who was close to Yosano during her military medical training days and deliberately became a gangster to avoid being compared to his excellent brother. One day, he was caught trying to steal from a dangerous group's safe and was ordered to work as a subordinate instead of being killed. This led to his joining the "Hunting Dogs." To get close to Yosano, who "killed" his brother, he volunteered to become an undercover agent to monitor Ōgai, a dangerous man who knows many military secrets as a former military medical officer, after the previous undercover agent Sakaguchi left.

After the Detective Agency was protected by the Port Mafia, he, under Ōgai's orders, guarded them along with Hirotsu and Gin. During a deal with Fitzgerald, the agency members were attacked by a squad, and after they separated, he guided Yosano to a boat. When Yosano tried to blow herself up along with one of the pursuing "Hunting Dogs," he revealed his true identity and pointed a gun at her but couldn't kill her. This led him to question his actions.

After rejoining the "Hunting Dogs," he visited the Sky Casino with Teruko to search for Atsushi and Kyouka, discovering a hidden safe and bombs disguised as coins through his ability. Sigma, trying to eliminate the "Hunting Dogs," detonated a coin bomb near his nose, which he blocked with his ability, but he was almost run over by a drone and attacked by casino guests due to Sigma's broadcast. Although he found a video of Atsushi claiming their innocence, he discarded it due to the "Page" alteration that made all police worldwide disbelieve the evidence against the true culprit. However, recalling the words of Hirotsu and Gin, or perhaps because he is both a police officer and a mafia member, the alteration's effect broke, and he became convinced of the true culprit's existence, taking action to persuade the government. Under Ōgai's plan, he used his ability to track Fukuchi, who was directing Bram Stoker, but was stabbed and had his eyes slashed by Ame-no-Maegami's ability, and was bitten by Bram Stoker.

An ability to manipulate metal, just like his brother. It can be widely applied, such as seizing enemy blades, moving metal dolls, instantly unlocking safes, and stopping bomb fragments in front of him. However, due to only receiving weak enhancement surgery for infiltration purposes, his physical strength is low among the "Hunting Dogs," and he cannot stop objects as large as aircraft.

The ability name is derived from a poem by the character's namesake poet, Michizō Tachihara.
