Raizou

A ninja from the Wano Country. A retainer of the Kozuki family. One of the Nine Red Scabbards. Formerly a member of the Kozuki family's Oniwabanshu. Known as "Raizo of the Mist."

Born in Udon of Wano Country. 35 years old. Birthday is February 26th (from the play on words "Ni (2) Ni (2) Ka (6)"). Height is 311 cm. Zodiac sign is Pisces. Blood type XF. Favorite food is burdock rolls.

A man with hair styled like a car's fender and a crescent moon-shaped scar on his forehead. His face is large, and he has a plump, short-legged body, which is far from the typical image of a ninja. Despite his physique, he is agile and uses a variety of ninjutsu techniques. As a ninja, he prefers to live in the shadows and does not like to show his ninjutsu to others, but he has a good spirit and has shown his ninjutsu to cheer up the deeply depressed Luffy and others. He is a compassionate person who cries for the Mink Tribe who sacrificed their country to protect him.

He possesses the powers of the "Maki Maki no Mi," a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to seal anything into scrolls and release them.

He was once a genius ninja considered a rival to Fukurokuju. However, after being rejected by a kunoichi, he left the Oniwabanshu and lived like a bandit in Udon. Feeling the limits of his secluded life, he met Oden and became his retainer.

He aimed for "Zou," governed by his comrades Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, but got separated from the others before reaching it and arrived at "Zou" alone. The Mink Tribe warmly hid him, and even when Jack devastated the country, they did not hand him over. The Mink Tribe stopped him from surrendering himself to Jack, as he was bound by the "Road Poneglyph."

In the Wano Country arc, he infiltrated the prisoner mines to rescue Luffy and reunited with Kawamatsu, who was imprisoned in an unopenable cage. He obtained the key to the handcuffs and freed Caribou, then contacted Luffy and Hyogoro that night, and the next day, he freed Kawamatsu and helped in the takeover of Udon. During the raid on Onigashima, after Kaido defeated them, he chased Kanjuro and confronted Fukurokuju. They both used "Paralysis Jutsu" on each other, and as the flames engulfed the castle and burned their bodies, they dragged on a battle of endurance, but Raizo endured the intense heat of the flames burning his entire body and defeated Fukurokuju. Later, he released the stored water bath of Zunisha, which he had sealed in a scroll, with the help of Jinbe, saving the allies inside the castle from the flames. Seven days after the raid, he landed in Wano Country and was weakened by Green Bull, who absorbed his nutrients, leaving him emaciated.
