Kinemon

A samurai from the Wano Country and a retainer of the Kozuki family. He is a leading figure among the Nine Red Scabbards, known by the alias "Foxfire Kin'emon."

Born in Kuri, Wano Country, he is 36 years old. His birthday is January 29th, and his height is 295 cm. He is an Aquarius with blood type X. His favorite foods are O-Tsuru's sweet red bean soup and radishes, while he dislikes tanuki udon and wine. His hobbies include visiting tea houses with O-Tsuru. His image animal is the fox.

A tall man with a topknot hairstyle, he has the Kozuki family crest tattooed on his back. He possesses an old-fashioned samurai spirit, often displaying chauvinistic behavior. While lecherous and prideful, he is also known for repaying his debts of gratitude. Orochi and Denjiro describe him as a sharp-minded man, though he often relies on his sheer luck and can be somewhat dull. In his youth, he was violent and a big spender, but he has since acquired the refinement befitting a samurai. He despises dragons, seeing them as akin to his parents' enemies, and visibly sours upon seeing one. He refers to himself as "sessha" and ends his sentences with "gozaru." He has the unique ability to speak through his farts.

He is a user of the Paramecia-type Devil Fruit "Fuku Fuku no Mi," which allows him to create clothes by placing objects like stones or leaves on his head and chanting "Doron." The clothes he creates can disguise anyone and disappear once removed or damaged, reverting to the original attire.

His swords are "Sukesan" and "Kakusan," both unranked. He wields the "Kitsunebi-ryu" sword style, which allows him to release and cut through flames. He is skilled in both one-sword and two-sword styles and has mastered Oden's "Oden Nitoryu." Even in his youth, he was recognized by Hyogoro for his considerable strength. He is adept in both Armament Haki and Observation Haki.

As a young man, he was a thug in the Flower Capital, but 41 years ago, he was captivated by Oden's personality following the "Mountain God Incident" he caused, and became one of Oden's first retainers along with Denjiro. Twenty years ago, after Oden sacrificed himself to let his retainers escape, Toki's powers sent Kin'emon and others 20 years into the future of Wano Country. Along with Momonosuke, Kanjuro, and Raizo, he left Wano Country to gather allies but was spotted and pursued.

During their journey to Zou, they were shipwrecked, and Kin'emon was separated from Raizo, drifting to Dressrosa. He chased after Momonosuke, who accidentally boarded a tanker to Punk Hazard, and was cut into three parts (head, torso, and legs) by Law's ability. With the help of Sanji and others, he was restored and joined forces with the Straw Hat crew to infiltrate the research facility, reuniting with Momonosuke afterward. He traveled with the Straw Hat crew to Dressrosa and Zou, where he reunited with Kanjuro, Raizo, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi. He returned to Wano Country ahead of Momonosuke and Luffy to distribute leaflets announcing the day of the final battle to allies scattered across the country.

In the Wano Country arc, he advanced the plan to raid Onigashima, but on the day of the raid, none of the allies, including Luffy, arrived at the meeting point at Tokage Port, putting him in a dire situation. He later learned that Kanjuro was a traitor working for Orochi, and they were surrounded by the Beasts Pirates' fleet. However, Luffy and others arrived late and helped them, leading an army of about 5400 to Onigashima. On Onigashima's dome rooftop, they inflicted damage on Kaido with a fierce attack by nine people but were defeated. After recovering in the treasure hall, he rushed to Momonosuke's side, where he defeated Kanjuro but was then ambushed by Kaido, who severed his torso. Fortunately, the parts Law had cut on Punk Hazard were not perfectly aligned, allowing him to survive. He split his lower body and sought help from his allies, and was rescued by Usopp and Hamlet. After the battle, he reunited with O-Tsuru and joined a national feast in Kuri. A few days later, he saw off Luffy's departure with Momonosuke and Yamato.
